There is little known about Leander Baerenz besides his well-documented weakness for gummy bears and Apérol Spritz. He first appeared publicly in 2011 flooding the stock image market with over 2000 graphic and easy-to-use images that mimicked the famous ‘lying on the floor’ style of German photographer Jan von Holleben. Since then Baerenz became a sought after stock photographer and even gained approval by his famous role model von Holleben, who showed himself amused by Baerenz’ Warhol-like mass production style.
